Nrupathunga Kannada Koota is seeking nominations from the current members to fill up the Executive Committee open positions for the office term of 2025: 

• Executive Committee (EC) – 1 Position (Women)

• Executive Committee (EC) – 1 Position ​​

General Rules (Please read carefully before submitting the form):  

1. Any active NKK member may submit (propose or secondary) up to a maximum of three (3) nominee names.  

2. Only one nomination per family for either EC group during a given term of office.

3. Same person Cannot be nominated for multiple positions. 

4. Same person Cannot nominate themself.

5. The nominated member will have to secure 1 proposer and 2 seconding members and the consent of the nominees to serve NKK is required and will be collected during the eligibility/validation process.​

Eligibility Criteria:  

1. The nominated member should be an active paid annual member of NKK for last 3 consecutive years (2023, 2024 & 2025) OR a LIFE Member since 2023. 

2. The nominated member shall be clear of all blemishes, criminal records or negative history. 

3. The nominated member should be agreeable to sign the confidentiality agreement and code of ethics before they take over.

Timelines & Important dates: ​​

1. Last date to submit the nominations: Saturday, April 13th, 2025, 6:00 PM EST (forms received on our website will have date and time stamp for validation purposes).

2. Last day to withdraw nominations: Saturday, April 19th, 2025, 6:00 PM EST. This can be accomplished by sending an email to secretary@atlantakannada.org.

3. Eligibility/Validation Process: April 20th to April 22nd, 2025.

4. Communication to nominees regarding eligibility: April 23rd, 2025 (Finalized list of nominees determined). 

5. Outcome of the nomination information will be e-mailed to all the NKK members.

NOTE: In case of receiving more nominations than the number of open positions, elections will be held as per the guidelines outlined in the bylaw and the process will be communicated accordingly.
